About

One person, twenty-five years of practice, and a preference for tools that quietly do their job.

SB Internet is me, Shannon Browne. I’ve been building for the web for more than 25 years, the last 20 mostly in WordPress. Along the way I’ve built and looked after sites for nonprofits, online shops, political campaigns and advocacy groups: the kind of sites that have to work under pressure, not just look nice in a portfolio.

These days SB Internet is the company behind mutt.works and Zuffler, because it turns out the people I most like building for have dogs. I also make a couple of WordPress plugins. I use AI tools the way I use any other tool, to go faster on work I already understand. A person still reads every line.

I’m in Chester County, Pennsylvania, supervised by Zelda and Zen. SB Internet is woman-owned.

The rest of my life, dogs included, is at shannonbrowne.com.
