Scheduling is cache-resilient: banners convert your site timezone to UTC and hide themselves on the front end, so full-page caches don't need constant purging as time passes.

FAQ
Does scheduling need JavaScript?
Yes, for scheduling and dismissal. Scheduled banners stay hidden if JavaScript is blocked; unscheduled banners remain visible.
Does it use my WordPress timezone?
Yes — the timezone set under Settings > General.
Does it work with full-page caching?
Yes. Time passing doesn't require a cache purge; purge once after changing banner content, dates, or your site timezone.
